Both bus drivers were excellent drivers and experts at navigating those challenging roads, I felt very safe. The staff at the bus stop in Ha Giang was also very nice. I was picked up from my hotel by a car and dropped off by the limousine, which was convenient. We stopped for lunch halfway through. We ended up arriving with about 2h delay though, so don't plan too tightly. Bring a neck pillow and definitely something against nausea if you struggle with motion sickness!

It was fantastic, a safe trip despite the winding mountain roads, excellent service, and convenient pick-up and drop-off 🥰
Driver spoke English, which was super rare and he was very friendly and helpful. The seats in the bus were also very comfortable and spacious. However, there was not enough space for everyone's bags so all the bags were on the floor in the aisle, meaning people at the back had to step over other people's bags just to get out of the bus. Also, the bus only stopped once for lunch and there was no other toilet break besides this stop.
