One downside is that bus name / plate number were unknown at the time of pickup, so we worried we could miss the bus or it could come late (as it starts in Hanoi) and we wouldn't know how long to wait for it. But the bus was on time at the pick-up point (Dong Gung Tam Coc) and had bus operators' name in front - nice! The bus had arrived 1hr earlier to Hue center, which wasn't so nice as it was 6am in the morning - we'd prefer if we could have slept 1hr more! The LCD screens didn't work, though in fact we didn't need them. Otherwise the trip was fine.
the driver was not really nice. His attitude was harsh, pushy, not friendly at all. There was only one stop in 13h and the bus was 1h late. Overall the bus was clean, blanket was fresh and all in all still okay. I would wish the drivers could get a training to improve the customer service.
Bus was 50min late without any notice and plate number wasn't informed beforehand. (I had to call the hotline to get those informations. Good thing I had a vietnamese phone number.) Driver couldn't speak English at all and was just yelling at people, clearly just trying to do his job but I think the communication skills could be improved. The bus arrived at destination 30min earlier than scheduled despite the departure delay "thanks" to crazy driving? I'm okay with that as long as it's safe and actually happy to be on time. Bus was overall clean. My blanket was missing but the driver gave his own to me.
